About Us
Professional And Experienced Attorney
Advocate Stacie Webb, Esq.
A Foundation of Excellence: Education & Leadership
Originally from Phelan, California, Stacie built a robust academic foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Southern Utah University (SUU). She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in New York. During her time at Hofstra, Stacie demonstrated her exceptional leadership and commitment to advocacy by serving as the Articles Editor for the Family Court Review journal and fiercely championing children’s rights through the Youth Advocacy Clinic.
A Track Record of Leadership & Litigation
Returning to the West Coast, Stacie quickly established her footprint in the Las Vegas legal community. Early in her career, she took the helm of a prominent local immigration law firm, managing all aspects of the practice and developing a deep, foundational expertise in immigration defense. She subsequently joined Ed Bernstein & Associates, one of the city’s largest multi-million-dollar personal injury firms. As an associate attorney on their litigation team, she honed her aggressive advocacy skills, fighting to secure maximum compensation for the injured and disabled.
Your Legal Defense LLC
Today, with over five years of dedicated legal practice, Stacie channels this wealth of experience into Your Legal Defense LLC, delivering strategic, results-driven advocacy to the Las Vegas community. She combines a powerhouse litigation background with a personalized, empathetic approach tailored to each client’s unique needs in both justice and immigration courts.
Stacie credits her disciplined, goal-oriented approach to law to her background as a competitive collegiate gymnast at SUU. Outside the office, her downtime is spent unwinding with video games and relaxing with her two-year-old poodle-chihuahua mix, Alfie.
“Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory.
Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat.”

Liliana Mier Lartigue
Director of Operations
Originally from Chicago, Mrs. Mier Lartigue has proudly called Las Vegas home since 2000. Inspired by her own family’s immigration journey, she brings a deep and personal understanding of the challenges immigrant families face to every matter she handles.
She pairs more than a decade of specialized immigration experience, spanning USCIS practice, the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Ninth Circuit, and the federal district courts, with over 20 years of business development and operational leadership.
Much of her recent work has centered on federal detention and bond litigation. She has drafted and filed federal habeas petitions and motions for custody redetermination across the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Nevada and Arizona. That work is grounded in Maldonado Vázquez v. Feeley, in which the District of Nevada issued a landmark injunction striking down ICE’s automatic-stay regulation and rejected the agency’s expanded reading of INA § 235(b), which threatened to strip bond eligibility from individuals who entered without inspection. Maldonado aided in setting the foundation for the ACLU-led class action Jacobo-Ramirez v. Mullin, in which a class of detained Nevadans was certified in March 2026, securing court-ordered bond hearings for class members and easing the need for individual habeas filings. Her bond arguments are built on the burden-shifting framework that emerged from these decisions.
Her meticulous drafting has contributed to successful outcomes before USCIS, the Immigration Court, the BIA, and the Ninth Circuit. She brings rigorous written advocacy together with the operational discipline that keeps complex, fast-moving detained cases on track.
Following years of dedicated work in immigration law firms, over 13 years, Mrs. Mier Lartigue created New Hope Justice Services and now brings her leadership and experience into a collaborative role with Your Legal Defense LLC to support immigrant families.
A woman- and minority-driven venture, Your Legal Defense is led by a team that shares a first-generation connection to the American immigrant experience, including founding attorney Stacie M. Webb, a shared origin that grounds the firm’s commitment to accessible, dignified advocacy.
Mrs. Mier Lartigue’s commitment to justice and her personal connection to the immigrant experience fuel her advocacy for the individuals and families the firm serves, and for the community she calls home.
